How To Choose The Right Sun Block
Sun block is indispensable for your anti aging regimen. Keeping your skin properly protected from different kinds of ultraviolet rays is imperative. The UV rays of the sun can damage collagen fibers.
Constant exposure to the sun’s UV rays can prompt the appearance of up to 80% wrinkles and fine lines. In addition to that, the skin can become more susceptible to age spots and skin cancer.
Never underestimate the effects of UV rays to the dermis. So learn how to choose the right sun block. Here are some tips for you:
1. Find out what type of sun block product will work for you.
If your skin is oily, choose an oil-free type of product. A non-comedogenic product will not block your pores and cause breakouts. Oil-based products might be a bit sticky so they might be a tad more uncomfortable to use especially during the summer season.
2. Look for ingredients with a broad-spectrum.
The product should be able to protect you from all kinds of ultraviolet trays. Most sun block products out in the market only contain ingredients that can block UVB rays. But UVA rays are just as, if not more, damaging than UVB rays.
According to experts, UVA rays can penetrate deeper into the dermis and can damage collagen fibers more. In fact, UVA rays are the main culprits to the appearance of more wrinkles.
You should be able to use that product all year long and not only during summer season in order to protect the dermis from UVA rays.
3. The product should work well for you if you are photosensitive.
Fair-skinned people are more photosensitive. There are also others who react extremely when exposed to the rays of the sun. Their skin turns red and damaged. Make sure the ingredients are just right for photosensitive people.
4. It should have the right SPF level.
The higher the SPF, the longer you can stay protected from the rays of the sun.
There are also sun-protective products that can also help improve the youthful functions of the skin. Look for the anti aging ingredients CynergyTK and Phytessence Wakame.
CynergyTK is an ingredient that has been extracted from the wool of sheep. This contains sufficient amounts of keratin. Keratin is a form of functional protein with the ability to produce more collagen fibers in the dermis.
Phytessence Wakame is a sea kelp with the ability to prevent the loss of hyaluronic acid. This acid is needed to lubricate collagen fibers.
And now I would like to invite you to visit http://www.goodhealthyskin.com to find out which are the anti aging products you should use in order to achieve clearer and radiant looking skin.
